Angelita Torres Obituary

Angelita (Angie) Calderon Torres, 69, went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2016 in San Antonio. She was born June 07, 1947 in Kerrville to Ramona (Lopez) and Jesus Calderon. Angie was born and raised in Kerrville. She worked as a custodian at the Doyle School and retired from Starkey elementary. Angie decided retirement was not for her and went back to custodial work for Ingram ISD and then National Car Sales. Angie was a loving and caring soul but she also was straight forward, tell it like it is kind of person. She leaves behind priceless memories of good times during her life with family and many friends. If you went to visit Angie and she was not home, you knew where to find her, the thrift stores or garage sales. She never met a stranger and loved to fellowship and talk. Angie was devoted to caring for every one of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Angie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Alfonso, Jasper, Jesus and Homero Calderon; sisters, Rita Campos and Anita Lara. She is survived by her loving daughters, Anita Phonepaseuth, Ramona Guardiola and Dee Torres; brother, Eloy Calderon; sister, Minnie Barron; grandchildren, Jennifer, Tommy, Ali, Andrew, Ish, Hector Jr, Yolanda, Lalo, Chris, Oscar, Kim and Carlos; 13 great grandchildren.
