Arzie Pinckney Obituary

Arzie Pinckney went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016, with wife Joyce by his side. He was at home at Take it Easy RV Resort. He was born in Sparta, Michigan, on September 9, 1929. Arzie was a Marine through and through. As a little boy, he read "Big Little Books'" Sgt. Mac of the Marines. He graduated high school in Sparta and enlisted for a total 22 years, with duty of two tours in Korea and one in Vietnam. Joyce and RZ moved to Kerrville in 1994 and opened Dreams and Visions Custom Upholstery. He also loved to write with two self-published books - "A Hero Betrayed" and "Unintentional." He attended Unity Church. He is survived by his wife, Joyce, and three children, Tammy Pinckney, Terry Boley and Lou Pinckney; also 9 grandchildren.
