Bruce L. Coker

Bruce L. Coker,77, went to be with the Lord on April 20, 2017 at his home in Kerrville. He was born on Feb. 21, 1940 in Gastonia, NC, son of Richard G. and Dovie (Williams) Coker. He joined the US Navy served during Vietnam War. Bruce married the love of his life, Cherianne Brown in 1962 in Long Beach, CA. Bruce retired from the telephone company as a lineman, Lake Havasu, AZ. Bruce and Cherianne moved from Lake Havasu to Kerrville in 2005. He enjoyed spending time at the Take Easy RV Park clubhouse and making friends. Bruce never met a stranger and was friends with everyone. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #2081, Kerrville. Bruce was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and wood working. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Dovie Coker. Bruce is survived by his wife, Cherianne Coker of Kerrville; children, Cathy Ramson and husband Travis of Portland, OR and Bruce Allen Coker of Lake Havasu, AZ; grandchildren , Tyler, Tanner and Jordan; great grandchildren, Ellie and Grayson. Bruce will be loved and missed by many other family members and friends.
