Ernestina Sandoval Acosta

Ernestina Sandoval Acosta, 73, passed away peacefully on the morning of May 29, 2016 in Kerrville. She was born on Oct. 22, 1942 in Teul de Gonzales Ortega, Zacatecas, Mexico to Ignacio and Guadalupe Sandoval. She spent most of her childhood in Mexico and has been a resident of Kerrville for 45 years. She married Ignacio Acosta on November 20, 1971 in Mexico. Ernestina was an amazing cook and took great pride in being a homemaker. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother. Ernestina is survived by her husband, Ignacio Acosta; children, Sammy Acosta of Kerrville, Angela Huerta of Kerrville and Yolanda Sanchez and husband Steven of San Angelo; grandchildren, Jeremy, Hannah, Alissa and Nicholas; 4 brothers and 4 sisters. She will be loved and missed by many other family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Luis and Juventino Sandoval.
