Jerry Wolters Obituary

Jerry R. Wolters,73, of Harper passed away on April 23, 2017 at a Kerrville hospital. He was born on Sept. 26, 1943 in Salt Lake City, UT to Royal V. and Leola Virgin Wolters. Jerry graduated Class of 1962 from West High School, Salt Lake, UT. He joined the US Army served during Vietnam War in the 670th Transportation Company. Jerry worked for Blue Fisheries (1972-1981), Chock Full O' Nuts (1981-1992) and Cain's Coffee (1992-2007). He was preceded in death by his parents, Royal and Leola Wolters; brother, Ricky Wolters. Jerry is survived by his wife, Phillis A. Wolters of Harper; brothers, David Wolters (Toni) of Payson, UT, Paul Wolters (Vickie) of Kuna, ID and Ron Wolters (Amy) of West Valley, UT; sisters, Debbie Carlson (Steve) of Sandy, UT, Kathy Woolsey (John) of Yucaipa, CA and Linda Caywood (Nels) of Salt Lake City, UT. He leaves many nieces, nephews, grand and great grand- nieces and nephews to cherish his memory. The family will hold services at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested for donations in Jerry's memory be made to Wounded Warriors at NEBO c/o Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, 1800 North Llano St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624.
