Margo Mitchell

Margo Mitchell, 62, passed away suddenly on April 28, 2018. The eldest daughter of the late Ralph and Kathryn Mitchell. Husbands Steve Yeargen and Billy Maddox also preceded her in death. Margo is survived by her daughter Megan Gonzales, her father Lee Gonzales, son Jonathan Mitchell - Garrett, his father Ralph Garrett, sister Melinda Mitchell, sister-in-law Dawn Mitchell, brother Ralph S. Mitchell Jr., niece Brooke and husband Bradley, and their son Braidyn Cash Compton. Margo was an avid music lover, enjoyed sailing and baking. You could always find Margo talking enthusiastically about her many musician friends, and fond memories of her years she spent in Austin. Margo attended Schreiner University on a scholarship, playing on the Tennis Team. She graduated from St. Mary's University and went on to work in programs for female adolescents, and therapeutic living communities, specializing in counseling and case management.
