Nolan Lee Stegink

Nolan Lee Stegink, beloved father, grandfather, and uncle went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2018 at the age of 86. He was born on February 21, 1932 in Waco, Missouri, to Garrett and Eva (Goheen) Stegink. Nolan graduated from Carl Junction High School (1949) and entered the US Air Force, where he served the next 20 years before retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1972. His greatest loves were travelling the United States and spending time with family. Nolan was preceded in death by his parents, brothers (Arlis, Lyle, Gerald), sisters (Wanda, Elvina), and son, David. He is survived by his loving companion, Deonne Simmons; son Garrett and wife (Carol); daughter Denise Johnson and husband (Robert); and grandchildren: Matthew, Daniel, Corey, Alissa, Jeffrey, Courtney, Amanda, Jeremy . In lieu of flowers, the family asks that charitable contributions be made to the Meals-on-Wheels program thru the Dietert Center in Kerrville, TX.
