Clydie Faye Carroll

On a cool January morning, Faye Carroll passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Kerrville, Texas. She was born July 14, 1934 in Portland, Arkansas to the late Clyde and Agnes Abernathy. She passed away on Monday, January 29,2018 at the age of 83. She enjoyed growing and pampering her orchids, fishing on any lake she could, especially Lake Brady, and traveling extensively with her family and friends. As a young woman in 1949, Faye married Huey T. Carroll and they were blessed to celebrate 50 years of marriage. Together they had eight children, thirteen grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, Faye is preceded in death by her husband and two grandchildren. For the past five years, she once again found happiness with her second husband, Earl Connors, who also recently passed away. She is survived by her children, Ann and Dan, Ed and Charlie, Mary and Bill, Dennis and Cathy, Phyllis and Don, Kathy, Cindy and Stewart, and Pam and Jeff. Faye's wishes were to have a small celebration of life service with family and close friends at her favorite fishing hole on Lake Brady once the fish start biting.
