Diana L. Burrer

On the afternoon of June 16, 2018, Diana L. Burrer left this life to join her loved ones that have passed on before her. She was born on March 12, 1958 in Kerrville to Margaret (Hughes) and Bobby Joe Burrer. Diana was a graduate of Tivy High School and a lifelong resident of Kerrville. She worked at Sid Peterson Hospital for 8 years as an OR tech and retired after 25 years of service from the Kerrville, State Hospital as a nurse's aide. Diana was a loving and sweet natured person. Not having any children of her own, she loved and cherished her nieces and nephews, showering them with love. Diana enjoyed traveling with her mom and aunts to the casinos and playing Bingo at the Kerrville American Legion Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Dewayne Kenley; father, Bobby Joe Burrer; and grandmother, Nellie Davis. Diana is survived by her loving mother, Margaret Burrer of Kerrville; sister, Radonna Chambless of San Antonio; brother, Bobby Burrer and wife Kris S. DeRose of Reno, NV; brother, William Burrer of Kerrville; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation can be made to the charity of your choice.
