Fred Lee Valigura, 74, passed away on March 10, 2018 at his home in Ingram. He was born on August 19, 1943 in Bay City to Christine Hope (Uher) and Fred Emil Valigura. Fred graduated from Bay City High School then joined the US Army to serve during Vietnam (1966-1968) as a medic. He married Karen Gale DeRosier (1962) in Bay City. He retired from Dow Chemical Company and worked in the family business, Bay City Glass Company. Fred lived in Lake Jackson for several years before retiring the Hill Country in 2009. In Fred's past time, he was a classic car collector and enthusiast. He will be best known for being a devoted and loving father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Christine Valigura; and brother, Kelly Valigura. Fred is survived by his children, Fred Lee Valigura Jr of Las Vegas, NV, Karen Valerie Valigura of Houston and Michael Lee Valigura of Ingram; grandchildren, Brett, Ashley, Carrie and Emily Valigura. He will be loved and missed by many other family members and dear friends. The family will be holding a private memorial service.
