Glenn Stuart McCain

Stuart McCain, 53, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 23, 2017 in Kerrville. Glenn Stuart McCain was born on April 06, 1963 in San Antonio to Vera (Neal) and Arthur Glenn McCain. Stuart graduated Kilgore High School and went on to attend Kilgore College to receive a degree in Religious Studies. He went on to become a licensed minister by the Southern Baptist Convention. Stuart worked as a gate guard in the oil fields of west Texas. Over the last 11 years, Stuart worked for Home Depot, Kerrville. Stuart managed several departments in the store from the front end to plumbing. The plumbing department was named the best department in the district the last 2 years under his management. At his time at the Home Depot, Stuart volunteered many hours working with Team Depot helping local veterans and schools with projects. The best memories were the Cashier Olympics the district held as store associates dressed up and competed in contest but the best was Stuart in a Toga and then as a Pirate. Stuart could talk to anyone and made sure you knew he cared about you, that is what made him a great manager. He will be greatly missed in his orange apron walking the aisles of the Home Depot. In his past times, he loved to watch old westerns and listen to Elvis CD's. He also had a passion for writing. But the true loves of Stuart's life was his family; wife Ashley and kids, Christopher, Kylie and Chelsea. He loved spending time with them, from simple nights at home to fun times at Incredible Pizza. He is preceded in death by his parents; Arthur and Vera McCain. Stuart is survived by his loving wife, Ashley; children, Christopher, Kylie and Chelsea; siblings, Sammy Neal Thompson and wife Sandra, Shelly Elizabeth Thompson, John Scott McCain and wife Rhonda; nieces/nephews, Shane, Dandi, Samantha, Casey, Corey, Ashley and Corbin.
