John R. Johndrow

John R. Johndrow, 68, went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2019 in Kerrville. John was born on the Fort Sam Houston Army Base in San Antonio on Sept. 02, 1950 to Sophia (Knapp) and Clayton Johndrow, whom both preceded him in death. John married Ann Johnson on Sept. 22, 2017 in Kerrville. John was an expert auto paint and body repairman for the last 40 years working in the Hill Country and San Antonio area. He had way about him of a perfectionist, meticulous and focused on the task at hand. Those traits carried over from his work life into his daily life. He enjoyed playing solitaire and pool, where those skills are key. John also loved to BBQ, spend time with family and friends. He always showed his children love but raised them with a firm hand. John was a member of Open Arms Ministry in Ingram. He is survived by his wife, Ann Johnson Johndrow of Kerrville; children, Melissa Cox Poskey (Lee), Jeff Warren (Kellie), Quentin Johndrow (Lara) and Tracy Johndrow Zuniga (Jonathan); 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; stepchildren, Elizabeth Gutierrez and Melissa Holliman (Jeff); siblings, Jim Hollingsworth (Ardis), William Johndrow (Angela), Clayton Johndrow Jr and Robert Johndrow.
