Nancy J. Breitkopf

Nancy Jean Breitkopf, 80, of Ingram, Texas passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 6, 2019 with her family by her bedside. She was born to the late Owen White and Mayme Tibbs, May 12, 1938, in Tulare, California and had seven brothers and sisters. Nancy graduated from Kelton High School in 1955. She attended the Texas Woman's College of Business and later joined the United States Air Force where she served until 1958. She was married to Albert Breitkopf in January 1992 in Las Vegas, NV. They lived in Bullhead City, AZ where she worked in Housekeeping for the Edgewater Hotel and Casino. She enjoyed many years of fishing, swimming, and boating adventures along the Colorado River. During their travels, they fell in love with the Texas Hill Country and moved to Ingram,TX in 2004. She is survived by her husband Albert of Ingram, TX, sisters Patsy Odom of Graham, TX, Marsha Barrett of Whitedeer, TX, Lisa Simmons of Lubbock, TX and brother Jimmy White of Bullhead City, AZ, one son Timothy Pettengill of Fresno, California, daughter Tracy Vinson of Seabrook, Texas and daughter Jennifer and husband Timothy Galipeault of Seabrook, Texas. She has ten grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Nancy was preceded in death by her brother David White of California and sisters Virginia Laycock of Pampa, Texas and Jane Evans of New Mexico. Nancy was an avid reader and enjoyed a wide variety of genres and authors. She loved quilting, knitting, and collecting turtles, and above all spending time with her family.
