Raymond "Ray" G. Oberg, 82, went home to his Heavenly Father on October 30, 2019. He passed away in the loving arms of his wife of 34 years, Marilyn, in his home in Kerrville, TX. Ray was born January 4, 1937 in Worcester, Mass. to Gunnar and Edith Oberg. The family moved to California, Germany and then back to California while Gunnar was in the military. He was a Deputy with Pinal County, AZ and then became an Officer with Apache Junction Police Department in AZ. After retiring in 2001, Ray and Marilyn spent time in New Mexico where Ray was a part of the local Volunteer Fire Department before moving to Kerrville, TX in 2016. Ray was baptized into Christ on 4/26/17. Ray enjoyed being active with his church family and his many friends.
