Ronald Richerson Obituary

Ronald Malcolm Richerson, 66, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 21, 2018, 2018 at his home in Ingram. He was born on June 06, 1952 at Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital in Kerrville to Malcolm and Ilera Richerson. Ronald was a graduate of Tivy High School and attended Texas A&M, Kingsville. He was an Eagle Scout. Ron served as a Second-Class Petty Officer in the US Navy (1976-1980) and was sailor of the month, July 1977. He worked for Ingram Oaks Retirement Community and was the owner for the Hill Country Growing Concerns. Ronald married Sharon Mentch on February 01, 1990 in Kerrville. They settled in Ingram and lived there for the last 29 years. He was a member of the Texas Master Gardeners. He loved to play golf. One of his greatest passions was writing music and playing piano and guitar. He wrote one last song dedicated to his daughter, Michele, who is no longer with us. Ron is survived by his wife, Sharon Richerson of Ingram; daughters, Windy Ward and husband Rance of Ingram, Shelly Killeen and husband Josh of Kerrville; grandchildren, Kyrstin Ward of Ingram, Malie Killeen and Logan Killeen of Kerrville; sibling, Linda Riley and husband, James of Kerrville; niece Kristin Riley and nephews, David and Aaron Riley, all of Kerrville; best friend and brother in law, Ken and wife Sheila of Kerrville.
