Thelarue Jane Burrer

Thelarue Jane Burrer, 81, went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2018 in Kerrville. She was born on May 07, 1937 in Mason to William Knotts and Arlice Orene Knotts. She attended school in Fredericksburg and was a resident of Kerrville for over 65 years. Thelarue married Delbert Wayne Burrer on July 19, 1953 in Kerrville. Thelarue worked for Huffaker Enterprise for 13 years then opened her own sewing business until retirement. She loved to sew and also enjoyed quilting and making crafts. She was preceded in death by her mother, Orene (Kelso) Smith; father, William Knotts; her son, Donald Burrer; brothers, Frank Knotts and Danny Peterson; and sister, June Sherman. Thelarue is survived by her loving husband, Delbert of Kerrville; children, Debra Burrer Little of Spring, Larry Burrer of New Braunfels, Wilma Burrer Hector of Conroe, Tom Burrer and wife Lori of Indian River, MI and Tracy Burrer of Fayetteville, TN; brother, Marshall Knotts of Gillette, WY; 12 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. She will be loved and missed by many other family members and friends. Pallbearers will be Patrick Burrer, Jarrick Burrer, Fred Hector, Brandon Cox, Bryce Little and Aaron Read.
