Thomas Dewight Schmidtzinsky

Thomas D. Schmidtzinsky,67, passed away on March 13, 2018 at his home in Center Point. Thomas Dewight was born on May 23, 1950 in Fredericksburg to Irene (Pape) and Fritz Schmidtzinsky. He lived most of his life in the Fredericksburg and Kerrville. He traveled for work as a carpenter to Alaska and also as a station attendant in Kerrville. Tom loved the outdoors; fishing, hunting and collecting collectibles to trim his trailer with. He loved to talk about his adventures in Alaska and his fishing trips. He was preceded in death by his father, Fritz Schmidtzinsky; mother, Irene Lowrance; brother, Lester P. and Larry D. Schmidtzinsky. Tome is survived by his sisters, Phyllis Williams and husband Willie of Center Point, Mickey Wofford of Aransas Pass, and Bonnie Lockridge and husband Bill of Kerrville; brother, James Lowrance Jr. and wife Kathy of Ingram; cousin, Donna Leismann of Comfort and numerous nieces and nephews.
