Adam Jay Gonzales

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved, Adam Jay Gonzales Sr on April 6, 2025, at the age of 46.

Adam was born on September 20, 1978 in Holland, MI, to Mariano Cabrera and Gloria (Nee Gonzales) Wheatfall. Adopted as a child, he was lovingly raised in a nurturing environment from the age of 3 months by maternal grandparents Guadalupe and Sara (Nee Moreno) Gonzales, whom cherished him as their own. Though he faced many difficulties in life, Adam's spirit was one of resilience and joy, always shining a light on those around him. He had a heart full of love and never lost the playful inner child in him. He was always quick to give the shirt off his back and quick to give a helping hand to those in need.

Adam is survived by his common-law wife, Patricia J White; son, Kevin White; daughter, Jade Gonzales and partner Martin; son, Adam J Gonzales Jr; granddaughter Isabela Talavera. Adam is also survived by his birth mother, Gloria Wheatfall and husband Rudy; siblings, Samantha Wheatfall, Trey Wheatfall, Sophia Cabrera Maes and husband Greg and Joshua Wheatfall; and several nieces and nephews.

Adam is preceded in death by his adoptive parents (grandparents), Guadalupe and Sara Gonzales; uncle, Joe Maldonado, and birth father, Mariano Cabrera.
