Albert Langehennig Obituary

Albert "Pete" Langehennig, 73, went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2020 in Kerrville, TX. He was born on March 22, 1946 in Kempner, TX to Pansy (Maughan) and Max E. Langehennig. Pete attended school in Lampasas. Pete was a very talented man with a lot of traits that led him to many different professions; painting, construction, and so much more. Pete was a fun loving, caring man that never met a stranger. He enjoyed tending to his garden as well as singing and playing guitar. With his love of the outdoors and his family, he brought together a family recycling program "before recycling was a thing." He left a legacy with his nieces and nephews by teaching them to recite the Lord's prayer. Pete had a special way of making people see the better in themselves. His family always felt like God used Pete as a vessel to show good in others. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda Winstead; son, Robert Eugene Langehennig; siblings, Johnnie, Ed, Max, James, Rose and Wynnell. Pete is survived by brothers, Raymond Langehennig (Janice) and Tommy Langehennig (Deanne); grandchildren, Nicole King, Sandra Langehennig and Robert Langehennig; several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be loved and missed by many other family members and friends. Celebration of life will be conducted by Pastor Charlie Burgin, Robert Gumbert and Bill Ragsdale.
