Alma “Frances” Feller passed away on Sat. Aug. 12, 2023, at the age of 77. Born on March 26, 1946, in Llano, TX to Rueben V. and Willie Schneider of Castell, TX.
She lived and worked in Fredericksburg, TX retiring from James Avery Craftsman after 35 years. Frances relocated to Center Point, TX.
Her favorite pastimes were driving the backroads of Texas Hill County with the music blaring. She enjoyed sewing, making most of her own clothes, building birdhouses, and other crafts, plants, nature walks bird watching, and had a great sense of humor. She was a country girl that enjoyed horses and loved her pets. She made lifelong friendships with co-workers and others. She will be sadly missed by many.
Her ashes will be buried at the family cemetery in Castell, TX later this year.
Donations to Kerrville Humane Society or the Hill Country Horse Rescue are greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers.
She was the only girl out of 4 children and was preceded in death by her brother, Rueben Schneider Jr.
Alma is survived by her brothers, Bill Henry Schneider, and Ernest Schneider; children Kenton and Felicia Feller; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
