Amy moved to Ingram, TX in 2003 and married Adam Sanchez in 2016.

She is survived by her husband Adam Sanchez; mother Carol Smith; father John Stephens; children, Shelby Stephens, Michael Stephens, Haily Hughes, Lexi Hughes, Nyomi Sanchez; grandchildren, Aubriana, Olivia, Kendrick, Alayah and Myleiah; maternal grandmother, Pat Osuna; mother-in-law Joann Leonard; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins
