Andres Ortiz

Andres Ortiz, 54, of Comfort, Texas, passed away at his home on March 13, 2026.

He was born on January 17, 1972, in Puente de Ixtla, Morelos, Mexico, to Donaciano Ortiz and Ma. del Refugio Brito. Andres attended school in Amacuzac, Morelos.

On July 25, 1992, Andres married Alicia Bonilla Ortiz in Pomona, California. Together, they built a life rooted in love and dedication. They lived in Stone Park, Illinois, before making their home in Comfort, Texas, where they resided for the past 15 years. Andres worked for AmaTerra Service in Boerne and was known for his strong work ethic.

Andres found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved playing and watching soccer, fishing, gardening, and occasionally cooking for those he loved.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Alicia Ortiz; his son, Albert Ho and wife, Andrea Robles; granddaughter, Alyssia Ho; parents, Donaciano Ortiz and Ma. del Refugio Brito; his sister, Edith Ortiz Brito; and his brother, Juan Gabriel Ortiz Brito; along with several numerous nieces and nephews.
