Betty J. Hensz

Betty J. Hensz(88) born July 31st, 1932 in Whitehouse, Texas,  passed away May 2nd, 2021 in Kerrville, Texas. 

She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Dr. Richard A. Hensz, her son James A. Hensz, two grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Davis, her two sons and their families.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Betsy A. Hensz. 

 Betty and Richard formerly resided in Weslaco, Texas in the Rio Grande Valley for most of their lives before retiring to the hill country.   She returned to school to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from Pan American University, Edinburg in 1975 while raising her two teenage children, she taught elementary school for many years and was an active member of the First United Church in Weslaco.  Her kindness, caring, and sweet beauty of spirit will be remembered by all that had the privilege of knowing her.
