Bettye Jean McPherson Bailey of Kerrville Texas passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on May 15, 2025. Bettye was born October 19, 1932, in Hooks Texas and called Kerrville home for the last 35 years. Bettye was 92 years old.

Bettye was preceded in death by her beloved son James Bruce Bailey and is survived by her beloved children, Rita Bailey Paulter and her husband Edward of Ingram Texas; Pamela Bailey Dudley and her husband Jim of Kerrville Texas; Bettina Gaye Bailey Machen and her husband Jack of Kerrville Texas; Douglas Charles Bailey and his wife Kathy of LaPorte Texas; and John Walter Bailey and his wife Teresa of New Braunfels Texas. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Sean and Jen Bailey; Shane and Kelly Bailey; Jessica Bailey; Krissy and Clint Marchese; Douglas and Taylor Bailey; Samantha and Kevin Hubbard; Evan and Jennie Bailey and Hannah and Irvin Schwausch; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
