Brenda Joyce Breshers

Brenda Joyce Breshers, 78, of Ingram, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025. She was born on March 24, 1947, in Brownwood, Texas, to Wanda Joyce (Cutbirth) and Donald Theoplas Miller.

Brenda grew up in Dallas, Texas, alongside her two sisters, and graduated from Adamson High School. Shortly after graduation, she married Raymond Watson, and together they welcomed three children. When the children were young, the family settled in Kerrville, Texas, where Brenda would spend much of her life. Though that marriage later came to an end, Brenda remained devoted to her family and built a life filled with resilience and independence.

Later in life, she married Sam Breshers, and though their paths eventually went separate ways, Brenda continued to live a full and colorful life. In her later years, she shared a loving home with her sister, Terri Russell, in Ingram.

Brenda was truly a “Jackie of all trades.” Over the years, she wore many hats — waitress, housekeeper, factory worker, and even a self-proclaimed storm chaser — but the work she most proudly claimed was that of a roofer. She had a fearless spirit, a strong work ethic, and a spark that made her unforgettable to everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Stephen Watson; her nephew, Christopher Russell; and her brother-in-law, Alan Ingram.

Brenda is survived by her children, Christina Parrott (Joseph) and Russell “Rusty” Watson (Tuesday); her sisters, Dawn Ingram and Terri Russell; her grandchildren, Ryan, Rick, Lacy, Darren, Kelly, and Justin; fourteen great-grandchildren; nephew, Jacob Ingram; niece, Ashley Ingram; and great-nieces, Fallon and Trinity.

Brenda’s family will gather to celebrate her life at a later date in Conroe, Texas.
