Brett Paul Strunk

Brett Paul Strunk was born on October 22, 1984, in Corpus Christi and passed away from this life on May 30, 2021 in Ingram. As a young child, Brett was very adventurous and a bit of a dare devil. He could drive anything with wheels. He enjoyed spending time fishing with his dad Gary and friends. Being out on the water was one of his favorite things whether the fish were biting or not. Brett would always tell them… it is not catching its fishing. He had a green thumb and could grow just about anything. He recently planted moonflowers, banana trees and replanted flower beds. Brett was an incredibly talented wood worker and even worked with a new technique called Fractal Lichtenberg Wood Burning, creating beautiful pieces of art.  

Brett was very generous and always willing to lend a hand. He was always the one people called when they needed a ride or help with a project. He was loved by so many, and his memory will continue through his family and friends.

He was preceded by his grandparents, B.P. and Verde Strunk, W.K. (Bill) and Dessie Williams, Billy and Micky Campbell; aunts and uncles, W.K. Williams Jr., Sam and Carmen Strunk and Clyde Sens; cousin, Bradley Sens.

Brett is survived by his loving parents, Gary and Virginia (Sissy) Strunk; sister Carrie Lynn Campbell of Corpus Christi; aunts, Pat Sens of Lindale, Judy Williams of Three Rivers and Cheryl (Edward) Gentry of Mathis; cousins, Ronald (Cynthia) Strunk, Jonathon (Connie) Sens, Joshua (Jessica) Sens, Jack (Cristine) Williams, Billy (Dana) Williams, Dixie (Larry) White, Monica (Lance) Cooper, Zachery (Marion) Gentry; and numerous friends.
