Carl Don Covalt

Carl Don Covalt of Medina, Texas passed away Friday, July 17, 2020 in Bandera, Texas at the age of 93

. 

Carl was born on February 9, 1927 in Woodward, Oklahoma to James L. Covalt and Nora J. Covalt.  Carl is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Mark and George.

Carl was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers for Carl.  He was a rare combination of a man.   Without question a hard-working person. Professionally, Carl was a carpenter and lumber company/mill works manager.  He was also soft spoken, kind and as honest as they come. We should all be grateful to have known him and be grateful he is at peace.

He is survived by his wife Marian Adelle Covalt, daughters Susan Ferguson and husband Rocky of Leander, TX, DeLisa Nelson and husband Gary of Albuquerque, NM; stepsons Bruce White and wife Barbara of Medina, and Max White and wife Cynthia of Pearland, TX. 

Carl is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren as well as brothers Duane Covalt (Barbara), Dale Covalt (Ila Joy) all of Woodward, OK., and sisters Mary Land of Edmond, OK and Dora Goodmiller of Kingman, AZ.

Memorial services are to be determined.
