On the early morning of April 27, 2023, Carol Jane Smith passed away from this life to be joined with her only daughter, Amy and father, JD in Heaven. Carol was born on Feb. 06, 1958, in Houston to mother, Patsy and her father, JD Williams.
She attended Minden High School, where she fell in love with basketball. Throughout Carol’s life, she would coach basketball and was a part of West Kerr County Youth Sports league. She participated in a Bunco team and enjoyed playing dominos, a card game called Hand and Foot. Carol had a love for anything Elvis including trips to see Donnie Edwards (an Elvis impersonator). She was also fond of John Wayne and old western movies. She enjoyed time spent getting pampered with a manicure and pedicure.
Carol was working at La Hacienda as the Human Resource assistant and prior to that worked for many years at Hill Country Telephone Co.
Carol cherished the time spent with her family that she now leaves behind, her mother, Pat Osuna of Seabrook; grandchildren, Shelby Stephens, Michael Stephens, Haily Hughes, and Lexi Hughes, all of Ingram; 2 great granddaughters; siblings, Susan Wise of Colorado Springs, Joe (Rhonda) Williams of Shelbyville, John (Jean) Williams of Houston, Patti (Margie) Williams of Seabrook and Paula (Artie) Aguirre of Brady. She will be remembered by many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family will be establishing an account for donations to be sent to help Carol’s grandchildren.
