On June 26, 2026, surrounded by her family, Carol G. Teague, 75, passed away at the Hill Country Methodist Hospital in Fredericksburg.
Born on August 21, 1950, in Ogden, Utah, Carol was the daughter of Thora (Whitcott) and Rollo Green.
Carol found great joy in deep sea fishing and especially treasured the many hours she spent on the water with her life partner of 14 years, William Tesney. She loved decorating her home in Lockhart, where she had lived for the past 15 years. Carol also enjoyed spending time outdoors feeding the squirrels that visited her yard. Known for her wonderful sense of humor, she cherished every opportunity to laugh and make memories with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Ray Gaines; her life partner, William Tesney; her mother, Thora Whitcott; her father, Rollo Green
Carol is survived by her children, Amy, Brandi, Ricky, and Keri; her sisters, Donna, Cindy, Diana, and Daila; and her beloved grandchildren, Clayton, Cody, McKenzie, Kyle, Ricki, Harley, Klee, Kendrick, Drake, Payton.
The family will hold a private service on a later date.
