Charles "Charlie" Hall II Obituary

Charles “Charlie” Edward Hall, II, 79, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 7, 2026. Born in Waco, Texas, on February 15, 1947, he was the son of Dorothy and Charles Hall.

Charlie grew up in Waco, Texas, graduating from Richfield High School in 1965. He proudly served his country as a member of the Army National Guard from 1967 to 1973. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of North Texas and a Master’s degree in Education Administration from the University of Houston.

Beyond his professional career, Charles was a skilled craftsman who honed his talents working alongside his father in construction. A gifted carpenter, he personally built his family’s home in Kerrville. He was generous with his skills, frequently offering his time and expertise to friends and family in need, and he also contributed his talents to Habitat for Humanity in Kerrville.

Charlie dedicated his professional life to education, serving as a beloved teacher and administrator at Doyle DAEP, Tivy High School, Ingram Tom Moore High School, and Ingram Middle School. Passionate about guiding students, he was deeply committed to his work in Vocational Programs and Career Preparation, where he left a lasting impact on many young lives. Additionally, he served as a dedicated member of the Kerr County Crime Stoppers from 1998 to 1999 and 2004 to 2014.

In his leisure time, Charlie enjoyed collecting and shooting guns, playing Solitaire, spending time outdoors, and socializing with his many friends over a beer and cigar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dorothy Hall, and his sister, Jennifer Kammer.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Deborah Lee Hall; his brother, Frank Hall; his children, Erin Elizabeth Jeffers and Lindsey Leigh Bello; and his cherished grandchildren, Ryan Boone Jeffers and Brant Austin Jeffers. He will be remembered fondly for his dedication to his family and his community.
