Cheryl Lee Marshall, 74, was born in Beeville, TX, graduated from Victoria High School and Stephen F. Austin University, and taught music/choir for over 30 years in Texas. Her choirs sang at White House Christmas programs under four presidents; she was a repeat Texas All-State Choir piano accompanist.
Cheryl taught in Port Lavaca, Palacios, Dalhart, Brownsville, Rockport, Center Point, and Boerne; she accompanied several choirs on European tours. Cheryl lived in Japan, Germany and Texas, and enjoyed Kerrville for over 25 years. She died in Austin on November 17, 2025.
Cheryl is survived by her daughter Lori; grandson, Luca; husband, Cecil (all in Kerrville); her brother and family, Joe, Laurie, and Kelly (in Victoria, TX); and four stepdaughters, Renette, Janicke, and Christine, (in Bergen, Norway), and Jane (in Los Angeles, CA). Her Norwegian step-grand-children include Even, Emily, and Amanda.
Cheryl touched the hearts of all who knew her, and her laugh charmed the world.
