Connie (McDonald) Watkins

Connie McDonald Watkins passed away peacefully on August 28, 2023 in Kerrville. Connie was born on March 1, 1962 to Leslie and Yvonne McDonald in Baytown. Connie married her husband, Frank Michael Watkins on June 16, 1979 and spent 35 lovely years together until Frank's passing on December 27, 2014.

She attended Lee High School and Lee College in Baytown. Connie spent most of her adult life in Baytown where she worked for restaurants and CVS. Connie moved to Harper where she resided for the past 12 years and continued her employment at CVS in Kerrville.

Connie enjoyed playing card games, dominos and spending time at live music events. Her greatest joy was time surrounded by family and friends.

She is survived by her children Michael Watkins, Charlie Watkins, and Ernest Watkins; and her grandson Dominic Ray Gurolla Watkins; siblings David McDonald and Debbie Hughes.

Connie is preceded in death by her husband; and siblings Jeff, Shelly, and Sandra McDonald.

Private family service will be held at a later date.
