Donna Jane Parker

In the afternoon hours of July 03, 2021, Donna Jane Parker, 61, surrounded by her loving family was called home to heaven.

Donna was born on Feb. 12, 1960, in Orange, Texas and grew up in the Houston area. In 1984, she married the love of her life, Charles Parker.

She worked for the Kerrville V.A., scheduling medical appointments for veterans in need of care. She also volunteered her time to the Homeless Veterans programs at the V.A. Hospital. She was known by many to have a giving heart and cared deeply about those she could help. Donna was incredibly proud of the family she and her husband built, and her biggest accomplishment was her three daughters and two granddaughters.

Donna leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Charles Parker; daughters, Jennifer Nicole Retterer and husband Jeremy, Samantha Parker and partner, Bobby, Chloe Cagle and husband Calvin; granddaughters, Alyssa and Brynleigh; sisters, Virginia, Romona, Barbara, Tammy, Sandy and Dale; brothers, Ike and Mike. Donna will be loved and missed by many other family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Chloe “Jean” Revia; brother Tim and sisters, Sharron and Jean.
