Edna Lackey Copeland

Edna Jean Lackey Copeland, 85, passed from this life on March 05, 2020. She was born in Kerrville on November 28, 1934 to Granville Wesley Lackey and Josephine Plant Lackey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lindell James "Blackie" Copeland; her brother, Granville Oscar "Skip" Lackey and Bobby Joe Lackey; sisters, Lela Mae Pendley and Margie Taylor; her daughter, Norma Jean; and her granddaughter, Tonya Denise Hanlon. Edna is survived by her sons, Frank Copeland and James Copeland and wife, Ylanda; her sister, Leola "Cokie" Ray; her brother, Jimmy Lackey and wife Elana; her grandchildren, Caren Mowray, James Everett Copeland, Herman Henley Jr., Michelle Henley, Kitna Foltz, Wesley Copeland and Stephanie Holts; numerous great grand and great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; her dear friend, Kathy Willis and a host of life long family friends. When illness started to take its toll on her, she was fortunate and blessed to have Peterson Hospice step in with compassionate care and support.
