Effie Marie Reder Sanchez age 63 died in Kerrville, TX on August 7, 2025
Effie was born November 12, 1961, in Kansas City, MO. Through her life she mainly lived in Texas but having a father who served in military she also lived in Florida and overseas in Germany during her younger years. Effie attended Andress High School in El Paso, TX and graduated from Pampa High School in Pampa, Tx. During school years she was a gymnast, flutist, cellist and played the French horn. She was also a flag girl for the marching band.
Effie enjoyed being involved in her children's school activities, encouraging them in their interests and making their friends feel welcomed as they grew up and she loved time with her grandchildren. Effie worked in several different facets of service from waitressing, children's church choir director, daycare teacher, camp food service and retail sales. Her heart was to serve and help others whenever she was able. She devoted her life to her family and to her faith. She loved nothing more than spending time with her children, celebrating life’s little moments, and creating beautiful memories for the holidays. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and love. She had a special gift for crafting and decorating, and she poured that love into everything she made, from handmade ornaments to thoughtful gifts, she made every holiday magical.
She also had a joyful spirit and a passion for beauty and fashion. Whether she was trying out a new skincare product, picking the perfect outfit, or sharing her favorite beauty tips, she always glowed from the inside out. Her kindness, her creativity, and her deep love for her family are her legacy. She was a Christian and knew where her help came from.
Effie was preceded in death by her premature twin, baby brother, Norman Andrew Reder; father, George Edward Reder II; mother, Patricia Angeline Fleming; niece, Victoria M. Reder; nephew, Wesley Alan Conley; and great niece, Katrina R. Strubble.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Sanchez; sons, Benjamin Reder (Maureen), and Zachary Sanchez; daughters, Alice Gutierrez (Oscar), Esmeralda Ramirez (Alfred), Vanessa Santiago (Angel), and Abigail Sanchez; brothers, Joseph Reder, George Reder and David Reder; sister, Teresa Gross; and 11 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
