Elijah Thomas (JR) Avery was born 06/28/67 to Father Elijah Avery and Esther Wilson. Jr gained his wings on 02/14/21. Jr was always a happy loving man. He would give you the shirt off his back and his last dollar if you needed it. Most people that knew him was because of his great cooking skills. His daughters were blessed enough to inherit some of the skills and technics of cooking from him throughout their life as well. Jr worked at the Denny’s in Kerrville, Tx for many years were the customers loved to see their favorite cook when they walked in. A lot of people remember him from cooking at BP in Scooba, MS as well. Something about that smile that was so contagious.
He was a loving father to two beautiful ladies, Larissa Tabarez, and Kasey Fernandez. He was married to Lisa Avery for many years, and they loved each other no matter what they went thru. They together have five grandchildren, Demerrion Ward, Dimitri Ward, Maci Ramos, Paisley Tabarez. One more grandchild that he is in Heaven with Kodie Guillory. Jr was all about family, so he loved every one of them equally. Elijah will be missed by everyone. It is still a feeling that is unreal, but Jr lived a long and beautiful life. We can see him now kicked back with a cold one watching TV or listening to music that he loved so much. Until we meet again Elijah, we love you. Dad I hope your happy to see grandma Ruby D.
