Florence “Boots” Mae Saulter was born on July 25, 1941 to Catherine “Kit” and Art Arthin in Philadelphia, PA.
Boots passed from this life on Wednesday March 23rd surrounded by friends, her loving husband, and adorned pets. Boots was able to spend her time in her home that she and her husband built that was one of her most treasured worldly possessions. She loved sitting on one of her porches watching the deer and other wildlife that her Texas Hill Country provided.
Being an Army brat, Boots had many adventures both in the USA and abroad.
In 1966 she had the pleasure of meeting James “Jim” Saulter at a Lil’ Abner’s Rodeo, Steakhouse and Bar. About 6 months later they would marry, and April 3rd would have been their 55th Wedding Anniversary. Boots will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, in laws , daughter “Kit” Saulter and an infant child.
A special thank you to the Fredericksburg Hospice for their loving care and genuine friendships they formed with us.
Rusty, Amanda and Mrs. Sandra; words can’t thank you enough for your extra love and devotion you gave to us during this most difficult time. Coming all the way from Louisiana on a moments notice.
Per her request, Boots will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later time.
