Francee Crain

Frances “Francee” Crain, 100, passed away from this life on the morning of Sept. 19, 2023, in Kerrville. Born on Aug. 10, 1923, in Kansas City, MO to the late Leland and Ola Marie Tucker.  Francee married Fred Crain on March 05, 1943, in Colorado Springs, CO. She earned a Bachelor of Science, and using her degree she worked as a secretary and teacher.

In 1988, Francee moved to Kerrville from Houston. After settling into the Hill Country, she volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She was an avid tennis player and enjoyed being a part of different exercise groups to stay active.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred; and twin sisters, Joan, and Jean.

Francee leaves behind her only child, son Kevin Crain; daughter in law, Julie; nephew, Brent Christenson; nieces, Claudia Haag, and Leslie McAllister; along with a host of family and dear friends.
