George Walter Oggoian, entered this world on Dec. 20, 1965, in Highland Park, Illinois to Walter and Helen Oggoian. And he departed this earthly life on the afternoon of Feb .11, 2022, in San Antonio. In November of 1997, he married the love of his life, Grace Ann Wimer in Las Vegas. They lived in Las Vegas then they decide in 2011 to move to Texas and make that their home.
George spent his youth skating in hockey leagues. In his adult years, he was an avid gun and knife collector and spent time target shooting.
George earned his bachelor's degree (1991) and master’s degree (2000) from the University of New Mexico in Architecture. George worked mainly out of Nevada but was certified by the National Council of Architecture Registration Board (NCARB) to work in Texas (2007), Arizona (2015) and New Mexico (2022). He was so very proud of his NCARB certification and four licenses.
He was a kind and loving soul with the biggest heart for all creatures. He enjoyed times spent with family and friends; rather just listening or being silly, they always knew he was there for them.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Oggoian; uncles, Michael Oggoian and Alex Levy.
George leaves to mourning his wife, Grace Ann Wimer-Oggoian; son, Walter David Wimer-Oggoian of Harper; mother, Helen Oggoian of Kerrville; sisters, Debbie Wilson of Kerrville, Diane Oggoian of Seattle, WA and Denise Schmidt of Kerrville.
