Gerald E Fore Jr.

Gerald Ervin Fore, (Jerry), 69, went home to be with the Lord on August 16, 2023 at his residence in Kerrville, Texas for 5 years.

Jerry was born September 15, 1953 to Gerald and Ruby Fore in Enid, Oklahoma and raised in Medford, Oklahoma. He graduated from Medford High School in Medford, Oklahoma in 1971 and married Michelle Lynn Reimer in 1974, and they had 3 children, Corey in February of 75, Aaron in August of 76, and Micah in October of 79. During this time, Jerry graduated from Northwestern State College in Alva, Oklahoma. Jerry worked in the Oil & Gas Industry for 43 years, when he then retired to Kerrville, Texas.

Jerry could be found volunteering for Kairos Prison Ministry, Feed My Starving Children, and Samaritan’s Purse. While living in Minnesota and Cushing, Oklahoma, Jerry went on two mission trips to Haiti and one to Mexico.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Sr. & Ruby Fore, and sister, Darla Fore.

Those left to honor his memory include his sisters, Charlotte Hoar of Pond Creek, Oklahoma, Kathy Talent of Noble, Oklahoma, Judy Taber of Purcell, Oklahoma, and Pat Postlewaite of Sulphur, Louisiana; wife, Michelle; children; son: Corey and wife Julie of Overland Park, Kansas, son: Aaron and wife Melinda of Dallas, Texas; son: Micah and wife Laura of Kerrville, Texas. Also honoring his memory, Krystal Jimenez of San Antonio, Texas and Jessica and her husband, Bryan Walter of Wichita, Kansas. Grandchildren: Peyton, Connor, Macy, Livia, Vivian, and Levi. Also honoring his memory, Gavin Seals, Xander Stanton, Chloe, Elizabeth and Jonah Walter.

Jerry loved the grandkids. They meant a lot to him. He was Papa to many. He loved climbing the hills in the hill country where he lived and often worked on the property. He had a servant’s heart and expressed his love through acts of service.
