Gilbert JOhn Jimenez

Gilbert John Jimenez, 69, passed away from this life far too soon on October 22, 2023, at the local hospital in Kerrville. He was born to Jesusita and Lorenzo Jimenez on February 19, 1954, in Kerrville. Born and raised in Kerrville, Gilbert attended Tivy High School.

During Gilbert’s first marriage he had three children, Steven, Gilbert Jr., and Leticia. Gilbert met the beautiful lady, May, while they were both working at Mooney Airport in Kerrville and they married shortly after in 1998. Gilbert and May settled in a quaint home, and he gained 6 stepchildren from their marriage.

Gilbert was a hardworking, soft spoken, kind, loving, and free-spirited man.  He loved his Seattle Seahawks, Hot Rod cars, Rock & Roll music, and baseball caps. If you were lucky enough to know him and touch your heart in a short period of time.

Gilbert is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Alfredo Jimenez, Jose Jimenez, Ernestine Jimenez, Christopher Jimenez, Jerry Jimenez, Linda Jimenez, Marie Jimenez; stepdaughter, Connie Butler
Left teary eyed and missing him is his loving wife, May; his children, Steven, Gilbert Jr., Leticia; stepchildren, Tim Burrow, Sheila Hamill, Angela Henley, Bobby Burrow, Katherine Harrington;
siblings, Rudy Jimenez, Joe Jimenez, Fred Jimenez, Mike Jimenez. 

His beloved wife, May Jimenez will be holding a Celebration of Life. Please join us @ Louis Hays Park large pavilion, on Sunday, November 5th @ 1 pm. A small side dish of your choice is greatly
appreciated!
