Obituary

On March 22, 2023, Gloria Jean Morris was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She passed away peacefully at the age of 72. She was born to Eugene McDaniel  and Daisy Sutton on August 11, 1950 in Kerrville.

Gloria was such a loving soul. She enjoyed playing with all of her grandchildren. She loved to play softball and volleyball with her girls.

She was a bus driver for Ingram ISD for 15 years. As a single mother, Gloria worked hard to provide for her children even at points holding down 3 jobs.

Gloria was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Sutton and her father, Eugene McDaniel; and her son, Jason Morris.

She is survived by her sisters, Yvonne Taylor and Teresa Arnold; and  her children, James E. Morris III, Melissa Jean Morris,  Hattie M. Piper, and Rebecca Anne Roberts. She has 11 grandchildren and 9 great grand children along with nieces and nephews, all of whom brought her great joy and happiness in her life.

She will be missed by many people who she touch through her life.
