Ivan "Ike" Parsons

Ivan "Ike" George Parsons, age 86, of Harper Texas passed Thursday morning April 17, 2025, in Kerrville, Hilltop Nursing Home. Ike was born September 23, 1938, in Charlevoix, Michigan. He grew up in the Charlevoix, Michigan area.

Ivan (Ike) George Parsons married Mabel (Mae) Ann Warner on June 14, 1980. They decided to open a farmers market and woodworking shop in Central Lake Michigan. Ike is survived by Mae's daughter Sherry Warner, also several beloved nieces & nephews. Ike was preceeded in death by his wife Mae and both parents. Ike served in Army USAR for 5 years with Honorable Discharge.

Ike had a very strong faith in the Lord and loved to sing, play guitar and harmonica. Ike's favorite songs "It's a Beautiful Day my name is written in Glory" and "We shall gather at the River that flows from the Throne of God".

The Lords Prayer was given to us as a model Prayer. If you wish, you can join me in the Lord’s Prayer:

-Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
