Jim lived life to the fullest and loudest. An alum of the university of Texas where he played football while obtaining his bachelors degree, he has always been a staunch and boisterous supporter of the team.
Jim was a lifelong participant of athletics, whether it be tennis, cycling, or armchair quarterbacking.
Jim was raised in Midland, Texas where he met his late wife Sherry Hobbs. He is survived by their daughter, Jacklen; two sons Jim jr. and Scott; and two grandchildren; dear friend and care giver, Grace Maricle.
Jim and Sherry moved to the Pacific Northwest where He worked as a hospital administrator, irrigation systems salesman, and heavy equipment salesman. Later he would move to Seattle, Washington to work in construction equipment sales and leasing. Eventually Jim became a credit manager for an international trailer leasing company before retiring to move back to Texas to care for his mother in Kerrville.
A master story teller with a big heart, Jim made friends easily and could always entertain a room with his gregarious manner. His kindness and wisdom will be forever missed.
