Jennifer Elaine Walters Stovall, 48, passed away on January 15, 2025, surrounded by family and friends.
Born on October 4, 1976, in Victoria, Texas, Jennifer was the beloved daughter of Terry and Carolyn Walters. She married Ethan Stovall in 1996 in Bloomington, Texas, and together they built a life filled with love. Over the years, Jennifer lived in various places, including Victoria, Bryan, Bloomington, Pflugerville, the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Kerrville.
Jennifer pursued her education at Victoria College, Fayetteville Community College, and Dallas College. She was an accomplished pastry chef whose creations delighted many and also worked as a childcare provider. Her talents extended beyond her professional life—she was a masterful baker and an avid thriftier who found joy in uncovering hidden treasures.
A woman of deep faith, Jennifer was a daughter of Yehovah. She embraced the word of God wholeheartedly and inspired others with her unwavering faith and powerful prayers. Above all else, she cherished her role as a mother and friend, bringing love and light to those around her. And we cannot forget, she was a major blockhead!
Jennifer is survived by her husband of 28 years, Ethan; her children, Savannah Stovall of New Braunfels and Matthew Stovall of Kerrville; her parents, Terry and Carolyn Walters; her siblings, Scott Walters, Eric Walters, Erica Walters, Candace Walters Lee and Michael Estrada; and her in-laws, Michael and Debra Stovall and Mack and Lilly Beard.
A private burial will take place at Eloise Woods Natural Burial Park. A celebration of Jennifer’s life will be held at a later date. As much as Jennifer loved sunflowers, she should have wanted the gesture of florals to be sent to a cause she tithed to herself. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mercy Gate Ministries at mercygateministries.com/donate.
Jennifer’s memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her. May her legacy of faith and love continue to inspire all.
