Jimmy Ray Ayala, 57, passed away from this life on August 2, 2023, surrounded by family at his home in Ingram, TX. Jimmy was born on April 12, 1966, to Juanita Lara and Ramon Ayala in Kerrville, TX. Being born and raised in Kerrville, he proudly graduated from Tivy High School and loved going back to enjoy the Friday night lights at the Tivy Stadium for football game.
During his life in Kerrville, Jimmy worked at the Inn of the Hills and Peterson Regional Medical Center. His last job was at Tivy High School where we worked in the transportation department delivering packages for the school.
Jimmy was known by everyone for loving music, specifically Tejano style music. He enjoyed making music of his own and loved playing the guitar. Taking road trips was among one of his favorite things to do where he would take a lot of pictures a long the way. He was a true Texan in the way that he was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns, it was rare he ever missed watching their games.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Ayala.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Francisca Castillo De Ayala; stepbrother, Ronnie Lara; and mother, Juanita Lara.
** Please wear Longhorn or Dallas Cowboy gear to the service in remembrance of Jimmy.
