John Waliky Sr., 80 years old, passed from this life on February 8, 2022 in Bandera, TX. John was born September 18, 1941 in New Jersey to George and Helen Waliky.
John moved to Kerrville over 40 years ago and during his time there he worked at Mosty’s Garage, Edmonds Drilling and Quick Lane doing what he enjoyed, working on vehicles. He married Juanita Waliky in 1961 and during their marriage they had two sons together, John Waliky Jr. and Wally Waliky. In his free time John loved hunting, fishing, and working on small engines. He will be missed by many.
John is preceded in death by his son Wally Waliky of Kerrville, TX.
He is survived by his son, John Waliky Jr. (Delana) of Bandera, TX, daughter-in-law Jennifer Waliky, brothers, Bobby Waliky (Velda) of Center Point, TX, Jeff Waliky of Houston, TX; grandchildren Zeke Kennedy of Austin, TX, Jake Waliky (Allison) of Brownwood, TX, Justin (Sherenna) of San Antonio, TX, Tanner Waliky of Kerrville, TX, Delanna (Blake) of Katy, TX, Daine, Brooklyn, and Garner Grabs of Bandera, TX and 9 great grandchildren.
The family will have a small celebration of life and would like to thank everyone for keeping them in their prayers. We would like to thank Cedar Creek Nursing and Rehab and Embrace hospice for their hard work and kindness.
