Judith Ann Lee was born on June 22, 1947, in Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on Sept. 04, 2024, at her home in Ingram, TX.
She was a legal secretary in California and was one of the most skilled typists and stenographers. Upon moving to Ingram over 16 years ago, Judy worked and loved her time spent in the pharmacy department at the Main- HEB in Kerrville.
Judy was a member of the Saddle-Sore Riders in Norco, CA enjoying the time spent outdoors on amazing trail rides and meeting other horse enthusiasts. She was also an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 328, Norco.
Judy was a tireless advocate for animals, and practically everyone who knew her was aware of all she did to help cats, dogs and other pets. Over the years, she volunteered for Freeman Fritts Vet Clinic and Animal Shelter. She also volunteered alongside her daughter, Michele for Meals on Wheels delivering meals on Friday’s.
Judy was a hands-on grandmother with her local grandchildren, being involved in varies school and sport activities at Notre Dame and OLH in Kerrville assisting with whatever needs presented itself.
When Judy passed, she had two daughters, Genee (her wife, Danelle) and Michele. Her daughter, Genee and Danelle have 6 children, Jason (Kaea), Jessica (Alex), Sam (Kevin), Joyelle (Chad) Ian (LaShawnda) and Jianna (Brian); they also have the great joy of having 9 grandchildren, Jordan, Abigail, Max, Harper, Eleanor, Eta Carinae, Maizy, Walter and Lyra; Judy’s daughter, Michele has two children, Kayla and Logan. Judy will be missed by many more friends, extended family members, and loving previous coworkers.
