Katherine Lynn Winters, age 54, passed away July 12, 2023; in Kerrville, TX, with loved ones by her side.
Katherine was born on July 11, 1969 in Stockton, California to Rodger and Patricia Hinz. Her mother preceded her death.
She was married to John Edward Winters March 11, 1991 in Corpus Christi, TX. She graduated from East Union High School in Manteca, California. From there she went on to work for Verizon Wireless as a Telecommunications Supervisor, from which she retired. Since her retirement, she has been living happily on her ranch with her family for the last 18 years in Mountain Home, TX.
She is survived by her husband, John E. Winters; her father, Rodger A. Hinz; her children, Russell W. Winters and wife Courtney J. Winters; Elizabeth D. Mullis and husband Michael D. Mullis. Grandchildren include Alyssa J. Winters, Zoey A. Zambrano, Edward D. Zambrano, Dakota R. Mullis, and Justin R. Mullis. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Heidi. She will be deeply loved and missed by all who were blessed to know her.
There will be a private service held at family ranch on Saturday September 2, 2023.
