Larry Wadell Musgrove, age 85, departed this world quietly on Thursday, September 16, 2021, in Kerrville, Texas.
Born in Beaumont, Texas, he was the eldest of three brothers. He graduated from South Park High School in Beaumont in 1954 and served his country proudly and with honor in The United States Navy.
Larry was the kindest and gentlest of souls who never met a stranger, as well as being a fine husband, father and brother. He loved motorcycles, guns, fishing and his heart dog, Bonnie.
Larry retired in 2010 from Fire Extinguisher Service, the business he founded in Denham Springs, Louisiana. He served his community with pride for 20 years until moving to the beautiful Texas Hill Country to enjoy his life to the fullest. All who knew him will miss his gravely Louis Armstrong singing voice, his beguiling smile and his most handsome face.
He was preceded in death by his father, "Ted" Musgrove, mother, Mavis Musgrove, son Bernard Musgrove and daughter, Terri Maria Musgrove Barnett.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kris Peters Musgrove, daughter Kelly Anne Musgrove Reed, son-in-law, Billy Reed, son, Christopher C. Musgrove, wife Patty, granddaughters Jinny Reed Milligan and husband, London, and Jessy Reed Hester and husband, Caleb as well as great grandchildren, Belle, Phoenix and Jameson.
Rest well, Sweet Prince, in God's loving arms, surrounded by welcoming angels and the love of those left behind.
